A small introduction about you

I’m Eduardo, 20 years old, from Florianópolis (Brazil), currently in the 8th semester of Computer Science at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). I'm a full-stack developer at MVST. I enjoy working on solutions that improve people’s quality of life. In my free time, I like hanging out with friends, exploring new places, and spending time with my family.

What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done, and what did you learn from it?

The most adventurous thing will be a trip to Europe that I’m planning for the next few months. I see it as a challenge to travel on my own, handle new situations, organize everything by myself, and adapt to different environments. I hope this experience will help me become more independent and resourceful.

What's the most memorable piece of advice you've received, and how has it influenced your life?

The most memorable advice I’ve received is that humility is the key to personal success. It taught me that no matter how much I achieve, staying humble allows me to keep learning, listen to others, and accept feedback. At the same time, it made me realize the importance of taking pride in my accomplishments and acknowledging the effort I put into reaching my goals. This balance has helped me grow both personally and professionally, keeping me confident yet grounded.

What's the most valuable lesson you've learned from a failure or setback in your life?

One valuable lesson I learned came from a project where the requirements were not properly aligned at the beginning. Because of that, we had to redo a significant part of the work, which caused delays and extra effort. It was frustrating at the time, but it taught me the importance of clear communication, proper planning, and making sure that everyone involved has the same understanding before moving forward. Since then, I’ve been much more careful about clarifying expectations early on to avoid unnecessary rework.
