We’re excited to welcome Daniel Kumlin to the MVST team! 🎉 Joining us as a FullStack Developer Intern, Daniel is a lifelong builder - from Lego to full-scale web apps. Originally from Sweden and now based in Madrid, he’s passionate about solving real-world problems through tech. Outside of work, he enjoys powerlifting and chasing fresh powder on freeride ski trips. A small introduction about you ✨

I’m a fullstack software engineer intern from sweden and based in madrid! From building legos obsessively when I was younger to making software, I’m a builder at heart and love to solve my everyday problems with software. When I have free time I love going to the gym from some hobby, powerlifting and when there is snow going free ride skiing in the mountains.

What do you consider to be your greatest professional achievement so far?

My greatest professional achievement was bringing a web app from design to production in just 2 weeks while incorporating stakeholder feedback throughout the development process.

What do you do to provide yourself with a good work-life balance?

I maintain a work-life balance through careful time management. I keep a detailed calendar that helps me stay organised while making sure I always block out time for friends and personal relaxation.

What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done, and what did you learn from it?

The most adventurous thing I've done was hiking up mountains in Austria for some incredible off-piste skiing. While I loved the skiing itself, I discovered that I enjoyed the conversations and the challenging ascent just as much. It taught me that the journey can be as rewarding as the destination, even when it's difficult. But it doesn't mean you can't have fun on your way!
