A small introduction about you ✨
Hi! My name’s Baha, I’m a software engineer passionate about building useful things with technology. I enjoy solving problems, learning new tools, and working on projects that make an impact. Outside of work, I love exploring new places and cultures through travel, it inspires me and gives me fresh perspectives.
If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be and why?
I’d choose software architecture. Designing systems that are scalable, maintainable, and resilient is both an art and a science. Being an expert in this area would allow me to build solutions that not only work well today but also stand the test of time as they grow and evolve.
If you could invent a product or service that would make people's lives better, what would it be?
I’d create a platform that connects people with local volunteering and social impact opportunities in an easy, accessible way. It would match people’s skills and interests with causes that need support, from education and environmental projects to community building. The goal would be to make giving back as simple and natural as ordering food online, but with lasting positive change.
Do you have any helpful advice for people that want to pursue the same career as you?
Focus on building strong foundations, understanding how things work under the hood will make you a much better developer than just following tutorials. Also, don’t compare your journey to others; everyone learns at a different pace. Instead, set small, consistent goals, and celebrate your progress along the way. And remember, collaboration is just as important as coding, the best engineers are the ones who can communicate and work well with others.
