Originally from Spain 🇪🇸 and based in Barcelona, he has collaborated with startups, agencies, and studios on projects for brands like Cupra, Scuffers, The King’s League, and La Caixa. Passionate about human-centered design, Alex blends creativity, technology, and storytelling to build meaningful digital experiences. ✨

A small introduction about you ✨

I’m a designer from Barcelona with a background in Product Design Engineering and more than six years of experience, developing my craft in product, interaction and visual design. I’ve had the chance to collaborate with startups, agencies, and studios on projects for brands like Cupra, Scuffers, The King’s League, and La Caixa. For me, design is about solving problems in a human way by blending creativity, technology and functionality to build memorable experiences.

What are your long-term career goals, and how do you plan to achieve them?

In the long term, my goal at MVST is to grow into a senior or lead product design role where I can help shape product vision, design strategy and cross-functional collaboration. I focus on understanding team strengths and weaknesses so I can support skill development and continuous improvement. Beyond my day-to-day work, I stay curious through personal projects, following design trends and industry leaders, exploring new tools and emerging technologies.

What do you do to provide yourself a good work-life balance?

After experiencing personal and professional burnout a few years ago, I’ve learned to truly value work–life balance. I prioritise activities that help me reset mentally and physically, like climbing, skiing, or running whenever I can, and staying active day-to-day. And just as importantly, I make space for quality time with the people closest to me.

What's something that you're passionate about?

I’ve always been fascinated by art, especially discovering the stories, emotions and hidden messages behind a creative work. I believe good design should first and foremost solve a problem but when it can also tell a story and make people feel something, that’s when it becomes truly powerful. Today, I’m bringing that mindset into the work we’re building at MVST.
